Top Photography Apps Performance in Ghana Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, the top photography apps in Ghana showed varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active user metrics. Here's a closer look at the data provided by Sensor Tower.

Photo Lab Picture Editor & Art from PHOTO LAB DMCC witnessed a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, peaking at 25.4K in early August before stabilizing around 5K by the end of September. Revenue increased steadily, reaching approximately $151 in mid-August, but fell to $60 by the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar trend, peaking at over 52K in early August and ending the quarter with around 21.8K.

Google Photos maintained a consistent performance across the quarter. Weekly downloads hovered around 9K to 11K, with a peak of 11K in mid-September. Revenue remained stable, peaking at $1.6K at the end of September. Active users consistently stayed above 2.2M, reaching a peak of 2.3M in mid-September.

UpFoto - AI Photo Enhancer experienced modest growth in downloads, peaking at 7.8K in late September. Revenue was relatively low, with minor fluctuations throughout the quarter, peaking at $33 in mid-August. Active users saw a gradual increase, peaking at 14.1K in late September.

The Photo frame app, collage maker saw a significant spike in downloads in early August at 11.2K, followed by a gradual decline to about 2.2K by the end of September. Active users peaked at 60.5K in mid-August, with a slight decline throughout the quarter.

Lastly, GPS Geotag Photos & Camera Map showed a dramatic increase in downloads, reaching 23.3K in late September. Active users also surged, peaking at 13.3K by the end of September.
